Jesse & Ella - USA

Jesse Gentile was born and raised in Tampa, FL. He trusted Christ as a young child, was baptized at 12, and entered into fellowship at Carrollwood Bible Chapel. After a public school education, Jesse attended the University of South Florida and graduated in 1999 with a degree in Social Science Education. In both high school and college Jesse actively shared the gospel and sought to defend his faith as a follower of Jesus Christ. After teaching middle school history for one year, he was encouraged to pursue graduate education. Rather than invest in more secular education, Jesse chose to attend Dallas Theological Seminary where he completed a M.A. in Biblical Studies in 2003. That same year he married Ella Dan of Los Angeles, CA. They returned to Tampa where he continued teaching middle school even though his desire was to spend more time preaching.

Throughout these years, Jesse was heavily involved at Carrollwood and Garland Bible Chapel (Dallas) teaching the scriptures, sharing the gospel, and sharing in the life of each local fellowship. In 2006 he and Ella moved to Tallahassee, FL where they both returned to graduate school at Florida State University. With a vision to create an online Biblical Studies school for NTP assemblies, Jesse completed an M.S. in designing distance education systems. While there he and Ella were heavily involved in trying to build up a small NTP assembly in Tallahassee. From 2006 onward Jesse laid aside school teaching and helped to start Assembly Care Ministries, which he has been directing to the present.

During the last few years, Jesse has written many articles for Uplook Magazine and actively preaching throughout the Southeast United States. As invitations to preach the Word increased, Jesse and Ella discussed commendation with Carrollwood during 2010-2011. By mid-2011 Jesse was preaching 2-3 weeks out of each month away from Carrollwood. In recognition of the work that the Lord had called them to do, Carrollwood Bible chapel commended Jesse and Ella to the Lord in August of 2011. Jesse is involved in the boards or committees for ACM, the Rise Up Conference, the Southeastern Workers conference, and TeamWorkers Abroad. He remains an active web designer but hopes to redirect these efforts into building the Distance Bible Institute. In addition to the above Jesse directs Assembly Care Ministries which links up, New Testament patterned assemblies across the continent. Jesse also runs websites like AssemblyMap.com and isgodthere.org. Jesse and Ella have two children, Sophia and Peter. Ella is a busy mother who does part-time work from home as a wills and trusts attorney.
